David serves as a worship pastor and Elder at New Wine Church, leading worship. Music has been a defining part of his life since childhood. Before coming to faith, he played in an alternative rock band that gained national attention, co-writing original music and releasing two albums.
Then, in his thirties, everything changed. A life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ completely redirected his life and his passion for music. The same gift that once filled stages and studios was now surrendered to a higher purpose — leading people into the presence of God. In the nearly thirty years since, David has served as a worship leader for congregations and conference events alike, including youth and young adult outreach.
His heart is simple and clear: to lead people into an authentic encounter with God's presence through worship that is Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and rooted in Scripture. Alongside Carmen, David helps carry the sound of New Wine Church — worship that isn't about performance, but about drawing hearts into genuine union with Christ. His story is a testimony in itself, a reminder that no gift is ever wasted when it's placed in the hands of Jesus.
